Friends of mine, the indominatable Jody and Ryan, have offered to send me a package from the States. Now, it is up to me to find some things that are not too heavy, too expensive, too large, or too fragile. Sadly, that leaves out tortilla chips, root beer, avacados, tortilla chips and root beer, among other things.
Unexpectedly I am having some difficulty thinking of things they could send me. If anyone has suggestions, please feel free to comment.
So far my list consists of:
- popcorn
- hot chocolate
- macaroni and cheese
- Mexican spices
- Thai spices
That’s a pretty pitiful list…

Hey there~
*grin* Ahhhh yes, at times I am glad I am in Japan and not China… however - the cost to get those ever wonderful western items in Japan is not cheap (Irish Car Combs… ever so wonderful combinations of Guiness, Jamison and Bailey’s - 10 fricking dollars?!).
Anyways, just thought I would shake things up with a post for ya Brian, and maybe some suggestions:
Chili… yum
Taco Spices for Rice - Lots of Taco Spices
Guac instant mix
Basically any kind of “instant mexican spice” mix you can find - they pale to the real thing but so does “Chinese” Mexican food
Real cheese
Some Hefs - damn Oregon Hef beer is good… but you don’t drink last time I checked.
Salsa?
You could also ask for some Thai food stuff, but I am not sure if u are a bad fan of that!
PS - Any news on the gallery sites?
*grin* Yes, agenda…
Hope you are doing well!

Some good suggestions, especially regarding spices, thanks.
Alright, I am working on the galleries right this moment. Starting with Chiaki’s and I’ll work on yours next.
